Background

The Chief Minister highlighted that the state government has recruited over 2.2 lakh police personnel over the past nine years, and it recently completed recruitment for 60,244 Constable posts for both men and women, followed by training at UP's own training centers and postings across the state. The government also completed recruitment for 41,000 Home Guard posts, holding the corresponding exams on 25, 26, and 27 April. Building on this momentum, the board now plans to recruit close to 1,00,000 personnel across civil police, other units, and the Home Guard, though it will release the detailed process, post-wise breakdown, and application dates in a separate notification soon.
