How We Protect Your Privacy
Last updated: January 2025. Your privacy is fundamental to how we built photoresizer. This policy explains exactly what data we collect (very little), what we don't collect (your images), and how we use information.
100% Local Image Processing
Every image operation — resizing, compression, format conversion, cropping — happens entirely within your web browser using the HTML5 Canvas API and JavaScript. Your images are never transmitted to, or stored on, any server we operate or control. Not even temporarily. We are technically incapable of seeing your photos.
Minimal Data Collection
We use anonymous, aggregated analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand how people use our tools. This includes page views, browser type, and country. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information unless you contact us directly.

Cookies
We use only necessary and analytics cookies. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) that persist for up to 2 years. These help us understand aggregate usage patterns. You can disable cookies at any time in your browser settings without affecting your ability to use our tools.
Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
If you are in the EU or California, you have rights including the right to access data we hold about you, request deletion, and opt out of analytics tracking. Since we collect very little identifiable data, most requests can be fulfilled by simply disabling cookies. Contact usvisaphotoai@gmail.com for any data requests.
Third-Party Services
We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous usage statistics. Our site is hosted on Vercel/Netlify, which may log standard server access logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) for security purposes. These logs are not used for advertising or profiling.
