The SSC Combined Hindi Translators Examination (commonly called SSC JHT) recruits Junior Hindi Translators, Junior Translators and Senior Hindi Translators for central government offices. Like every SSC exam, the application has strict rules for the photograph, and an incorrect file is one of the most common reasons candidates get stuck on the form.

1. Upload a recent, front-facing photo taken against a light, plain background.
2. Crop to a portrait frame with your head and the top of your shoulders visible.
3. Set the output size to 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm, or as stated in the notification.
4. Enter a target of 30–45 KB. The tool finds the best quality that fits inside 20–50 KB.
5. Download the JPEG and upload it to the SSC portal.

Commonly used SSC specs are a JPEG of about 3.5 × 4.5 cm between 20 KB and 50 KB, front-facing, without cap or spectacles. Always verify against the latest SSC JHT notification, since requirements can change.
