Official applications for SSC GD Constable require a correctly sized signature, and an incorrect file is one of the most frequent reasons candidates can't complete the form. Most phone photos are far larger than the portal allows, and online "compressors" often blur the signature until it is unreadable.

1. Sign on a clean white sheet with a black pen. Don't use a notebook page with lines.
2. Take a photo in good light, keeping the phone straight above the paper.

4. Enter the width and height given in the SSC GD notification.
5. Set the target to about 15 KB so the file lands inside the 10–20 KB range.
6. Download and upload it in the signature section of the form.
