SSC CPO Photo Resizer

The SSC CPO exam recruits Sub-Inspectors for Delhi Police and the Central Armed Police Forces (BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP and SSB). Your photograph follows you through the whole process: it appears on your admit card and is checked against your face at the computer-based test, the PET/PST and document verification. A badly cropped or over-compressed photo can create avoidable problems at any of these stages.

This tool lets you crop to the correct passport-style frame, set the dimensions and compress to a precise KB target, all without uploading your photo anywhere.

1. Start with a recent photo taken against a plain white or light wall, facing the camera directly, without cap or spectacles.
2. Upload it to the editor. Nothing leaves your device.
3. Crop to passport framing. Keep your full face, ears and the top of your shoulders in view, with your face filling most of the frame.
4. Set the dimensions to 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm (width × height), or the values in your notification.
5. Enter a target size such as 40 KB. The compressor automatically picks the best quality within the 20–50 KB window.
6. Download the JPEG and zoom in once to make sure your face is clear before uploading.
